Also a cycle route, our Trains, Planes & Bicycles route can be done as a challenging walk. This 5.9 mile route starts at Freshfield railway station before taking you on a circuit to the north of Formby, passing RAF Woodvale before returning through the Ainsdale National Nature Reserve.
