Based upon typical southwest Lancashire architecture the site consists of a country scene, village and town. Movement is generated by one of the largest 45mm garden railway systems in the UK.Since 1996, Southport Model Railway Village has attracted hundreds of thousands of families and model train enthusiasts from all over the world. This spectacular attraction consists of beautiful vistas and fabulous panoramic views of the miniature landscape and railway layout.

It is not unusual for children to want to spend all day with their parents or grand parents, whilst just following their favorite model train as it meanders around the 1.5 acres of beautiful miniature landscape.

With plenty of bench recesses, parents can keep a close eye on their children whilst relaxing having a picnic or just unwinding. Together with the peace and tranquility of the sheltered and highly secured site, the Model Railway Village has become every popular with people who prefer the quality side to life.

The site has been designed for easy access for wheel chairs and double buggies and includes a tastefully laid-out Teashop and Gardens with full Toilet facilities for the disabled.
