Another Place
Crosby Beach is now the permanent home to ‘Another Place’, the sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Antony Gormley. These spectacular sculptures consist of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.
You can walk along the Coastal Path and take in views of the sea, the Wirral and North Wales. Access to this strip of coast is good with four railway stations to choose from on the Liverpool to Southport line. Trains run every 15 minutes.
You can even hire a bike and ride there from one of our cycle hire centre, maps are available, and it’s about 12 miles one way. If you can manage 12 miles and don’t feel like riding back then hop on the train, you can bring your bike for free on Merseyrail and there is no need to book.
