Cycle Parking

There are numerous cycle parking facilities in and around Sefton and West Lancashire so finding somewhere to secure your bike shouldn't be a problem.

As part of the Southport Cycle Town programme, over a hundred sheffield stands were installed around Southport town centre in addition to some bespoke Penny Farthing style cycle parking stands.  These can be found in Lord Street and Tulketh Street. 

We have also recently installed lots more parking in Formby, Ormskirk and Burscough town centres.

Cycle Parking at the Eco Centre, Southport

A bespoke secure cycle shelter is available at the Eco Centre which is near the seafront.  Anyone wishing to use this shelter should contact the attendant on duty at the main information desk.  Use of the shelter is free.

Cycle Parking at Train Stations

Merseyrail have also recently installed secure cycle parking at their stations including Southport, Formby and Ormskirk.  The new facilities include secure storage covered by CCTV that can only be accessed with a security pass.
