Churchtown and Botanic Gardens

The route is about 2 miles north of Southport and takes you around the carefully preserved village of Churchtown. The Botanic Gardens offer a great day out, with a Victorian fernery, aviary, gift shop and café too, so there’s plenty to see and explore.

Trains run frequently on the Southport to Wigan line, alight at Meols Cop for this walking route..
